House of Fraser, one of the UK’s biggest department stores, introduced the Cheryl Duncan Trophy 10 years ago.
D&G Group were honoured to be awarded the event agency contract in 2013 and have continued to work alongside House of Fraser to deliver their high-profile annual charity event. Together we created a winning formula and have worked closely with the high-street powerhouse to energise and innovate their already successful charity day.
When the event first began back in 2004, it was held at Effingham Golf Course in Surrey but gradually over the years demand grew and in 2012 we found we had outgrown the club. We took the opportunity to develop the event further by introducing an evening gala dinner and working with House of Fraser we moved the event to the The Grove in Hertfordshire.
It was in 2012 we created our winning formula, a competitive 18-holes of golf hosted by top House of Fraser Executives following by a glamorous gala dinner, evening entertainment and an out of this world live fundraising auction.
As the events progressed throughout the years, we worked hard to secure top UK entertainment and once in a lifetime experiences, including dinner with Michel Roux Jr and a private yacht at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The event continues to sell out and to date we have raised a phenomenal £1.7million.
